5 Christmas Blend Coffee Flavors You Must Try

Christmas is a busy time – you’ve got presents to wrap, food to prepare, parties to host, and the list goes on! If you can’t make a homemade coffee blend because of your schedule, you can try some of these best Christmas coffee blends instead. Swap traditional eggnog for a warm cuppa joe made in a coffee machine or French press, or with the pour-over method. However you like your coffee, you’ll love these limited-time flavors.

These great coffees get top marks as the perfect gift, too. If you’re still hunting for gifts to give, why not share the spirit of the season with a steaming cup of coffee your loved one can enjoy beyond Christmas morning? A holiday blend coffee is sure to be a big win, especially for die-hard coffee enthusiasts in your life.

Starbucks Holiday Blend

Starbucks Holiday Blend is one of the best ground coffee blends you can go for this holiday season. This medium-roast coffee is rich with notes of sweet maple and herbs. It’s a perfect cup for days when you want to enjoy a sweet coffee.

This Christmas blend coffee is one of my favorites because its delicious festive flavors come through even when you add milk. It also has a nice level of sweetness, so adding sugar isn’t needed. This coffee is true to the medium roast taste, which is a plus for me. I think the flavors are exactly what you would expect, not bitter or too dark.

Barnie’s Santa’s White Christmas

If you want something that smells as good as it tastes, Santa’s White Christmas is for you. This delicious medium-roast coffee combines the flavors of coconutty caramel and vanilla that instantly transports you to a winter wonderland.

Barnie’s Santa’s White Christmas was initially sold exclusively during the holidays. But, Barnie’s Coffee and Tea Company eventually made it available year-round due to popular demand. This made me curious, so I gave it a shot. Luckily, I did because it exceeded my expectations.

This coffee blend has a very unique taste to it, thanks to its coconutty caramel flavor. At first, I thought this would overpower the coffee, but it doesn’t. The flavors blend so well that even if you’re not a fan of coconut, you will still like this, as it just has a hint of nut and richness to it.

Peet’s Coffee Holiday Blend

If you want a good cup of dark-roasted coffee, Peet’s Coffee Holiday Blend is for you. This holiday blend combines the flavors of brown sugar and black currant with a finish of warm spice. It’s simple, yet it makes it a perfect blend that you will look forward to during the holiday season.

Dark roasts can be hard to get right. However, Peet’s holiday blend is unabashedly strong, yet it’s not as bitter as the other dark-roast coffees I’ve had and has no trace of burnt flavor. It’s perfect for a cold winter day, iced or hot.

I have such special memories of visiting the local Peet’s coffee shop with my mom and aunt; I think I’ll always be a fan of their brand. I’m so happy to see them branch out into seasonal blends and allow me to celebrate a favorite time of the year with a favorite name.

Crazy Cups Holiday Variety Pack

Not sure which holiday blend to get this Christmas? You should give Crazy Cups Holiday Variety Pack a try. It comes with eight different flavors of medium-roast coffee. This includes Caramel Eggnog, Praline Nutcracker, White Christmas, Holiday, Spice, Santa’s Sugar Cookie, Roasted Chestnut Brittle, Spiced Gingerbread, and Peppermint Chocolate Mocha.

It’s one of my go-to coffee blends to serve whenever I have guests because it’s easy for everyone to love. Each flavor serves full-bodied coffee with an accent of holiday spirit. It can be hard to find a pack with a good variety of flavors. Sometimes, there are too many fruity ones or all chocolate. If you’re looking for a unique blend of coffees, this six-pack is a nice collection to keep you satisfied and entertained.

The best part of it is that they are sugar-free with zero calories. I love it because I can indulge in my coffee without feeling any guilt. That’s a great choice!

Community Coffee Christmas Blend

As an unashamed coffee lover, I must say that Community Coffee Christmas Blend is a must-try Christmas coffee blend. It’s a morning delight that offers a rich and smooth taste with hints of sweetness from its pecan praline flavor.

With thousands of reviews on Amazon, I had to try this coffee and see why people love it so much this time of year. Luckily, I jumped on the bandwagon. It’s one of the best holiday coffee blends I’ve tried, and I love that the company is family-owned and goes out of its way to connect with coffee producers and buy coffee beans from the source.

The ground coffee comes in 24 coffee pods and ensures I have a steady supply of my favorite coffee, and the compatibility with Keurig 2.0 K-Cup machines makes brewing a breeze. This is a fresh-flavored Christmas blend that tastes good hot and black.

What Should A Christmas Blend Coffee Taste Like?

A Christmas blend coffee is not your ordinary cup of coffee. What sets it apart from the usual coffee blends is that this seasonal blend has a unique flavor profile, bringing warmth and comforting tastes connected with the holiday season.

When you make a DIY blend, you can completely customize the flavor to your liking. Otherwise, the specific characteristics of a holiday coffee drink may vary between coffee roasters.

Some may use spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, while others may incorporate hints of fruit or notes of chocolate. Others incorporate the flavor of candy cane for a new coffee blend taste. This blend’s taste should bring a sense of coziness as if you’re savoring a holiday treat by the fireplace. The subtle sweetness is sure to remind you of festive desserts.

Dress up an average cup of coffee with a splash of eggnog creamer for instant holiday vibes. This lets you experience a comforting mix of seasonal flavors with a festive touch, making your brew even better.

I enjoyed this DIY christmas coffee blend SO much, I may just keep making it into spring and summer. I have sprinkled spice into my cup of already made coffee before, but mixing it into the coffee grounds produces a much better result.
